I wrote the English Grammar Workbooklet so that students will be able to learn grammar concepts not by definition but by how words and groups of words function in sentences, which is the linguistic approach. I found that in my classroom students could understand how words function better than if they learned through definitions. Feedback from students and parents has told me that the linguistic method works, and that has given me great satisfaction. Because of the feedback, I was inspired to write the English Grammar Workbooklet. |
